3. Let's just jump straight to powers

[Jason approached, considering how to go about this. It wasn't a wind based power, obviously, so he wasn't sure if adding wind would help or throw her off even more. The crate teetered again and dropped, but Jason was at the ready.

Instead of joining the other supplies in the water, the crate was caught by a strong wind. It hovered for a moment, the water splashing as Jason generated the wind to keep it aloft and bring it in to shore. It landed with surprising gentleness in the sand, away from the tide, but Jason didn't rush to get the crate, instead crossing the distance to the new girl who seemed (for lack of a better word) winded.

Are you all right?

[Jason is tall, blonde, and could probably give some of the boys in those teen magazines a run for their money. Even his glasses and the scar at the corner of his lip don't necessarily detract from his appearance. The lantern at his side is a dark gold, with etchings of eagles and lightning bolts around the edge. The light catches markings on his forearm, though with the shifting shadows and all the grime from the task of salvage it could just be dirt.

He notices the small scattering of crates that she had likely saved prior to his arrival. Of course, this is on top of her soaked-through appearance, he nods appreciatively.

You certainly were doing your fair share of the salvage mission. That's pretty impressive.
