It starts with a network post, and then a song begins to play in the Invincible, loud enough to be heard throughout Bonfire Square. Welcome to the scavenger hunt, everyone! You've been tasked with finding 25 "items" in and around Beacon, so hop to it!

Please remember to ICly report your findings on Robin's network post if you want them to count toward a prize! As a further reminder, you're free to interpret the list items however you/your character would like, and you're free to assume your character can find all of these things somewhere in town without running into trouble! Just don't stray too far from town to go gallivanting off into the wilderness, as that might be dangerous. This includes finding forest spirits! You're welcome to NPC your own forest spirit encounters, just like in our last event.

That's the only thing we'll ever agree on.

[ kol doesn't want to be here. he hadn't wanted to be dead the first time nor the second… and now that it's the third? he's wondering if it'll stick. (he hopes not.) where his line of thought goes, he doesn't show it. instead, he looks at her with a slight curve to his lips. ]

You don't wear death very well. [ it's an insult and it's not an insult—kol simply states it. he doesn't have to work hard with his insults these days, as pointing out were people fall short usually does the trick.

uncaring, kol moves so he's two seats away from her, resting his arm on the countertop. he doesn't sit. ] You're more pouty than usual. How did karma finally catch up with you?

[ Do any of them really want to be here? As far as she can tell, none of them died of old age after living long and peaceful lives. That certainly doesn't seem to be the case, judging by all the young and middle-aged people here. All of them had other things they wanted to do with their lives; hopes, dreams, loved ones left behind.

Though, in a way, Elena is glad to be here. So many of her loved ones have already been lost, and she was no use to the ones still around in her depressed state of not being able to accept Damon's death. In a way, this is better. Here, she can have a purpose again, using her abilities and self-sacrificing nature to try and protect these people and stop this vicious cycle before there's another reset.

The insult slides right over her and she takes another drink. She hadn't worn life very well there at the end either. ]

I fell, hit my head. Don't know why it stuck that time, but here I am. [ And here he is. This afterlife just keeps getting better and better. ]

What about you, Kol? You look different from when we killed you. [ Yes, she noticed the haircut, and with the way other Originals kept popping back up after what were thought to be final deaths, she's pretty sure that's going to be his story too. ]

[ ah, what a pity—nik really didn't exact his revenge. perhaps if it had been rebekah that had been murdered… putting her soul into the body of that other witch had been a deserving prank, and yet, nik had almost torn his head off. there's no point in feeling disappointed—his expectations for his brother were very low to begin with.

with a deep breath in, he dramatically sighs. ] The Other Side's hairdresser took quite the pity on me. I never much liked that hair, but I thought I'd try and fit in since it seemed to be the craze… [ he shakes his head, tapping his fingers against the countertop.

as much as it'd be a fantastic feeling to boast—two people saw him for the formidable creature he had been, one literally wanting to use him and the other simply loving him—he doesn't want to. informing elena of how he's come to live not once but twice over is information he doesn't feel she deserves to know just yet. he may be the reckless one, but he's the only mikaelson who had good relationships with witches for centuries for a good reason.

he smiles sweetly. ] Your murder didn't stick. It seems I had a guardian angel on my side.

[ the second time. the first was esther, and she was much more akin to a puppeteer. but the second? well… it may all be said to get under elena's skin, but kol does feel a genuine warmth at the mere thought of davina. in fact, it makes his smile a little more genuine. ]
