He's just managed to turn back to Cora, intending to tell him there's no need for thanks, not for this, when he's abruptly yanked into a hug that sort of goes sideways, and he's absolutely not letting out a very undignified yelp when they meet the floor far quicker than intended.

"Cora-san!"

It's meant to be an exasperated reproach, but really... it ends up sounding like he's holding back laughter. Which, in and of itself, is something of a feat from someone who never seems to laugh at all.

(Maybe, just maybe, he's not really had much reason for it before.)

And then, when they're both at least somewhat upright, it's Law's turn to pull Cora back into a hug. He may not be much of a fan of hugs in general.... but Cora-san is always the exception.
