Masaomi is resting nearby when a super cute chick (that he definitely hasn't been eyeing in his peripheral, no siree, nuh-uh!) suddenly bursts out laughing. He actually has to take a second to compose himself right along with her because, wow, that happens a great deal less often than he pretends it does. He blinks once, twice, and when she starts rocking on her heels, he kind of wonders if he's still got a fever and just didn't realize it.

Why is she laughing maniacally at thin air? Has this girl lost it? Or is he hallucinating? Either way, to ignore laughter this intense feels like a waste.

He promptly hops up from his seat and slides up to her, leans in to whisper sweet nothings. "How many tickles does it take to make a squid laugh? Ten! Ten tickles!"
