Most who believe in an afterlife don't generally presume it to be comfortable.

( that depended a bit on where you ended up, granted. hell was notably uncomfortable. heaven was probably a bit more temperate. this place, be it purgatory or something distinctly worse, definitely had all the trappings of early winter to go with the eternal darkness. Matt isn't sure what sounds worse, intense heat, or intense cold, though frankly at present the weather didn't even strike him that cold.

It'll be warmer inside. There's no lights, but there's some electricity. There's an inn, it's not far from the bonfire. ( he's obviously new, so Matt is willing to offer some insight on the bizarre place Hux has found himself. )
