It starts with a network post, and then a song begins to play in the Invincible, loud enough to be heard throughout Bonfire Square. Welcome to the scavenger hunt, everyone! You've been tasked with finding 25 "items" in and around Beacon, so hop to it!

Please remember to ICly report your findings on Robin's network post if you want them to count toward a prize! As a further reminder, you're free to interpret the list items however you/your character would like, and you're free to assume your character can find all of these things somewhere in town without running into trouble! Just don't stray too far from town to go gallivanting off into the wilderness, as that might be dangerous. This includes finding forest spirits! You're welcome to NPC your own forest spirit encounters, just like in our last event.

[ is he meant to not pay attention to how she reacts to him? kol hasn't been taking boundaries into consideration since he was 14 years old. listening in on rebekah's conversations, pushing finn into trees, and mocking elijah right to his face... he can hear the way her heart beats and he feels far more alive at the sound of its rhythm. getting a reaction out of someone has always been one of his greatest joys.

[ pursing his lips, he nods. narrowing his eyes for a moment in thought, he then teases, ] You're right. You're quite possibly the shortest person here. Shorter than the shortest spirit—I wonder how he'll take you stealing his crown from right out under him.

[ That would be preferable, yes. If course, Allie isn't used to anyone being aware of the effect they have on her. It's usually long periods of them being utterly oblivious. At least he's good enough not to call her out on it.

I - [ Gaping at him and reaching across her body to shove him - like... she could actually move him. ] I'm not that short.

[ Right now... mainly because he's ducking down. In reality? She kind of is ]

I'm not even the shortest person here. [ No because there's Mary. Children count, right? ]

the denials are expected. the shortest person in the room declines to accept that they are the shortest person in the room and usually tries to target other people. kol's surprised she hasn't fiercely grabbed hold of trying to call him abnormally tall.

arching his brow, ] Have you gone around comparing your height to everyone in town?

[ yes, he wants her to feel like that's weird and he'd totally believe she'd do that. crawling under people's skin is his favourite past time when murder isn't on the table. ]

[ Well they should!

She considered it but he's not even that tall. ]

What?! [ An incredulous bubble of laughter spills over as she gapes, trying to summon up a solid argument. ] No!

[ Except that when you are usually one of the shortest people in any room, that's the kind of thing you seem to do automatically. ]
