It might just be the fact he half expects to find Vanitas staring at him, single-minded in the object of his focus, so often Sora until his disappearance, or paranoia, but Riku thinks he can feel his gaze tracking his painstaking progress towards the bar. He's searching behind it, to be sure, but not for anything alcoholic.
