Maybe if a nickname were meant rudely, they'd have a problem with it, but Law hasn't ever actually been disrespectful. Gruff, sure, but not like he actively intended to hurt them. (Don't think anybody left in Beacon has ever been disrespectful or hurtful towards us, actually. I know. It's weird, but nice. Yes.)

They drift back into the kitchen to get back to work, but speak loudly enough to be heard where Law stands. "If you want to have a seat, lunch will be ready in about twenty minutes, too." They fully expect a growl back, but they have to offer. Might maybe be a little tease to the offer, too, though it's hard to tell, as Soldat's sense of humor tends to be very dry.
