During the battle, the World Eater grabs at Elektra with a huge, clawed hand, lifting her off the ground. She fights desperately, trying to free herself and landing plenty of blows in the process. Eventually, though, what saves her is gravity. The razor-sharp claws start to slide through her arm, tearing her flesh into ribbons as she slips.

The World Eater tightens its vice, but it's too little too late. However, the added pressure does snap her wrist as she falls.
