Kaz and I were helping her to create it, and our testing was to determine its effectiveness and their reaction to the process. The MK VIII is a drone that finds weak points, buries inside, and tears the target apart from within. It's one of many we made, trying to refine the weapon. Pluto believed that to really kill a world eater, the drone would have to bury inside and deliver a nuclear blast, internally. The earlier drones focused on infiltration, the MK VIII was the first with that kind of capacity."

Her ears are flat against her head, and she does look apologetic. She spoke earlier with Soldat and it is clear his reproach got to her. "These creatures can think and they can talk, to a point, but they are not like us. I know our testing was brutal, but what they can do... what the World Eaters do. It's so much worse."
