The flop turns out to be a good thing. He can feel the way Law's chest moves, how his breathing comes with a snicker more than anything else, and so when he sits up he's already smiling. Law dives for him again and the smile becomes a grin as Rosinante wraps his arms around him and holds on tight. A lot of the awkwardness he's felt over this unexpected arrival begins to dissolve, finally. There will still be some adjusting, sure, but this bond they have is unbreakable.
