He actually grins at the teasing. It's so easy to just let things be okay now that Law is here. Sure, yes, as he said, it's not great that Law is dead, and he'll likely swing deeply into feeling horrible about that later. But for now he's maintaining positivity because hell, it really is that good to just see him again, grown and strong and healthy now.

"I did suggest if he wanted a room to himself that there are plenty available, but I figured he wouldn't take me up on that, and he didn't," he admits with a chuckle. Law doesn't even want to sleep, apparently - wants to stand guard constantly, to try and keep them both safe now that he's able to. It's guilt and love combined, and Rosinante understands that and doesn't blame him, but hopefully he'll try and get a nap here and there. Even here, sleep is useful sometimes.

"Glad the portal is working, now that we have people trying to make sense of it," he adds. "Not just because Law is here but we need all the help we can get."
