Considering two of Soldat's first friends were Crowley and Scarlett, of all people, it's possible they'll make it work. Maybe. If Soldat doesn't wind up just plain terrified of him from the get-go, and Law doesn't get impatient with quiet, awkward former assassins. (Okay, probably it won't work.)
