He's not going to get into a whole discussion on Robin right now. He does feel bad for the girl, and he no longer completely blames her for the deaths of Five and Winters and so many others - she made a mistake, but she hadn't expected a green-eye to be out there at the lighthouse when he and the others went to get her back onto the network. Nobody could have predicted what happened then. But there was a reason he decided quickly, after that, to keep Will and his knowledge safe from that day on. There was too much power in the hands of Robin alone. Side with the guy who found the loophole. It's something he'll have to tell Law about later because food is absolutely now the sudden priority.

He can carry a lot more than Law can, he figures, and he wants to make sure it's not a total free-for-all out there. Everyone's so cooperative he pretty well figures it won't be, but if anyone's about to argue over who gets what, it's probably easier for him to help negotiate than someone who's new in town.
