Oh, Soldat means the Beaconites... nobody he's heard from or talked to seems particularly keen on the Wild Hunt, or thinking they even did that much to help. But everyone seems perfectly ready to go feral on anyone who hurts one of their own. (Soldat included, but then, that doesn't take that much to do.)
