"When you've been struck from history there's nowhere to go but up," Ardyn rolls his shoulder as the Starscourge sends another wave of pain through his body.

"I just need someone to remember that I was here. That I lived."

And he intends to ensure that by bringing his brother's kingdom to its knees. He will have his revenge against Lucis, the light, the Crystal...everything...

Once he gets home at least. Once the King of Light can finally destroy Ardyn's essence and, in doing so, kill himself.

His smirk widens, showing a few too many teeth.
