( yeah, probably doesn't need to announce he's leaving, though Matt would definitely take notice that Jason didn't think he needed to bother. it could just be the impetuous youth in him talking, or the presumption that he doesn't need to. Matt is uncomfortable with the idea someone might be on to him so easily, if that's the case, though it just insists he proceed with caution. it's not unusual for blindness to push other senses to the forefront, it's the awareness of exactly how much that Matt tries to keep close to the chest.
he's not planning on going far, truth be told. it's harder to sneak around in the dark with his lantern, and while Matt is trying to take in all he can he's at least a little bit uncomfortable doing it in only boxers and a blanket. he nods, not necessarily agreeing wholesale but that's pretty much all he can admit to Jason. )
