( he almost misses what day it is.

after all, time is a hard thing to keep up with in these endless nights. eddie's on another of his misadventures to the general store where he's been putting together packs for him and richie filled with supplies and first aid kits when it hits him. he curses, almost, but ultimately fumbles for his tablet instead to look it over with an exasperated hiss of frustration. he messages richie, letting him know that he'll be late (because the last thing he needs is rich worrying) and sets out to scour the store for something that might work.

in the end, it isn't much that he ends up with― familiar snacks, a random comic book or two that he managed to find and (of course) their packs of supplies. eddie probably looks like a sight walking through bonfire square with all his supplies but he has a determined look on his face as he makes his way back to the invincible. things have been weird since seeing richie's memories but he's determined for this to be as normal as possible. for them to have something that might take off the edge of all the other shit surrounding them here. )

Richie? ( he announces from the door to their room as if richie wouldn't be here. it would be weirder for rich to be out and about. )
