( He doesn't linger for very long outside the church. Part of it is because of his injuries — his broken leg coupled the acid burns across his arms, hands, and torso. It's difficult to tell with his coat on, buttoned up to the collar,but there are bandages covering his skin, hidden beneath his shirt and his gloves. He doesn't dare to go inside, to take a seat in one of the pews and wait for Soldat to appear. He's not that desperate yet.
He does visit the house sometimes, though, search for signs that the other man may be alive. Each time, he knocks at the door, waiting for some sort of noise or greeting to answer him before returning in defeat to the Invincible. )
Open the damn door.
( He gruffs out, not caring at this point whether it may be Soldat, Aziraphale, or Crowley. At least he can take his anger out on the latter two. )
