Soldat watches her head upstairs, then actually kind of zones out for a few minutes, until Misty comes back down with the blankets, which shakes them back into motion. Scrambling eggs, building two sandwiches. Tea, this time. (Soldat almost never voluntarily chooses tea. But it seems more soothing for nerves than cocoa and it's late enough that they're not making Misty coffee.)
By that point, the actual physical signs of the crying jag are gone. Supersoldier serum is good for a lot of things, including healing a raw throat and red eyes, apparently. They work their way through their (second, probably) dinner more mechanically than usual, not really tasting it, listening to first the hum of the dryer, then Misty bustling around upstairs putting the bed back together.
The tea comes with as they drift across the living room in response to her comment. "There's more tea and a sandwich left. If you want it." No more eggs, though. They ate all those, oops.
