Unnecessary apologies are unfortunately one of the (relatively minor) consequences of dealing with someone who used to get punished for taking initiative. Soldat tends to step back immediately at any sign of disapproval or mistake. Somnus seems to have forgiven the assumption, though, so they feel it's probably safe enough to say, "Good. You know how to find me, yeah?"
