With most of the opals he's snatched up at random, he's simply tossed them back and moved on. They have nothing to do with him or what he's searching for. This one is different though. As much as he'd like to, Masaomi really can't say that Stone doesn't have anything to do with him anymore. The fact that Stone hasn't laughed in his face is a miracle in and of itself. The least he can do is deliver a magic space rock to the guy so it doesn't end up with someone else.
