Jason doesn't think much of seeing Javert in the tavern and is almost to the door before he catches his signal. With most of the spirits occupied, it's not like his usual patrol can't wait. He weaves through the tables and chairs instead.

When he reaches the table and Javert delivers his message he freezes. There were many memories he had been getting back from various people. Mostly it was people he cared about, but he'd been bracing himself for other memories...less pleasant ones. He knew on some level there was no controlling who saw what memories out there, but it was a little surprising that Javert had found, of all the opals, one of his mother.

Of course, Jason has no way of knowing that Javert is referring to the mother wolf that had raised him after he had been abandoned, his first thoughts are of his human mother. After all, he'd just gotten back the memory from Sora of that meeting with Thalia about his mother.

"Oh. I...don't really..." he's about to say want it, but Javert had come here to bring it to him. That'd be rude. "Thanks." He doesn't actually move to take it. He's not sure he's ready to re-experience the reunion with Beryl Grace
