Given what had been going on, he probably should have pieced together the reason for the visit. Still, there were plenty of memories this could have been and most of them he wouldn't want floating around Beacon. This, well, it's a precious one but he hadn't expected of all his memories for it to appear.

He looks shocked and then it melts into a smile, holding his hand out to accept it. This is one he doesn't mind taking back.

A moment later there are tears on his cheeks. He'd forgotten how small Elysia had once been, how nice it was to have that small warmth in your arms entrusting you to protect it at all costs. How big she'd grown and how big she'd continue to grow...it made his heart ache.

"Thank you, Aziraphale. Thank you very much."
