[Prompto and Somnus don't talk very much. They live in the same cabin, so they see each other fairly frequently, and Somnus was part of the group that went to investigate the lake a couple weeks ago, but they don't hang out together much. So it's a bit of a surprise when Somnus approaches him.

It goes quickly from surprising to slightly terrifying with one sentence.]

[He peers at the opal, wondering what sort of memory it might be, afraid to actually touch it and see. After several seconds, though, he removes one of his own gloves and closes his hand around it.

It could be worse. It's a memory he doesn't really like forcibly revisiting, but it could be worse.]

...Oh. Thanks...y'know, if there's one thing I'm glad about being here...it's that I don't have to deal with that guy anymore.
