"Just one door and no one was in there anyway," which really was a shame because Quentin was feeling so good, he just wanted to share that with everyone. Everyone should feel this good today. It's like he can finally breathe again, after being under water for so long.

"We're dead." Like that explains it, and Quentin tries again, waving his hands through the freezing air and even that's funny. A laughing riot, the cold seeping in through his clothes and making his shirt stick to his back.

"And dying again? How bad could be? We might not even come back again, and then--" he pitches his voice lower, an almost whisper "and then we can rest." And he laughs again, like it's the best joke he's heard all week.
