Sora makes a fair point. Darkness is merely another facet of nature, on the other side of which lies the light. Night and day exist as counterparts. Besides, it's the same with people as far as Somnus is concerned: they're all made up of beautiful and ugly parts both.

With regards to the World Eaters, however, they know too little that Somnus refrains from passing judgment either way. "Is there anyone here who shares that sentiment?" he asks, if only so he can know who's out there to discuss this pacifistic method.
