He still smells acrid death singing his nostrils when Bucky pulls away abruptly, but he also did live through six thousand years of humanity, so it's not a new sensation. It's always an unwelcome guest.

He chooses to focus on the positive. "Susie and Jean. Lovely names for good, strong girls." He surveys Bucky for a moment, trying to gauge if he'll be alright.
