Does it get easier? Really hard to say. At this point he's accepted that he's here, that keeping his heart at home where his friends are just ends up with people here in Beacon getting hurt, or worse. He has keep his attention here, and not in the world he left behind. Did it get easier, though? Not really, truth be told. He's just learned to deal with it a little better.

"Maybe not easier. But when you find a place here, something that matters... it doesn't hurt quite as much." That's the best advice he can give, to make a connection in Beacon, instead of leaving your heart and head in a home that can't be reached anymore.
