Maes shakes his head, bringing his hands up in a dismissive gesture. "It's just a theory, but I suppose the only way to confirm it would be to figure out how to ASK the spirits that question. I'm not very good at communicating with them, so I'll leave that to someone else to figure out."

He supposes it is a little endearing though.
