A little bit of both. Where I'm from, we have a race we call the Omnics. They're basically artificially intelligent robots who can think and act for themselves. There was once an Omnic Uprising where they wanted to gain their freedom and rights, but it ended in a lot of bloodshed. I wasn't alive then, but this seems to be a second coming in the making. Gwishin have been showing up threatening to kill millions of lives.

I belong to a part of the military that uses mechs to defend those lives, but prior to this fight, my friends had been put of commission. I was the only one who could still fight.
