"I was in World War II in my... twenties, I think, but I died in 2014," the Soldier says with a slightly wry edge to their voice, slipping out through the exhaustion. The metal hand comes out of their pocket at the bridge over the river into the village proper, running along the railing. "A lot of the time between was spent in cryofreeze. That's probably why I don't look like I'm in my nineties." It's possible they might not age normally, either, given the serum... but they haven't had to think about that, let alone test it.
