"It's better than not trying," the Soldier agrees, a little vaguely. "He's not a bad sort. He's an angel." Most people seem to know more of what that means than they do, so it helps sometimes to share that bit. Like it gives people a better understanding of the kind of "nice" Aziraphale is, maybe.
