The Soldier smiles, a soft and pleased kind of smile. Because they do always seem to, and it doesn't seem like Bodhi is unhappy with that-- the Soldier is very good at reading small signs from body, tone, and expression-- and that's all that matters.

But a lot else to do, so they trust that Bodhi can get himself home and settled on his own, set their bowl aside to clean later, and head out to get started on all that other shit that needs doing before they can sleep.
