The focused attention, without the stare or not, dissipates into something less direct at the turnabout, and the Soldier shrugs, the boxes rising and falling with their shoulders. "I am a weapon. But I am a weapon that can have friends, so that's better than nothing."

They remember they were supposed to be walking, and start up again. The general store is right across the bonfire from them, at least, so they're almost there.
