Luckily for Jason, its strategy isn't exactly nuanced; it swings its lone arm toward him, low, and then, in case he jumps it, swings the opposite pair in higher up. Jury's out on whether or not it considered that he might dodge any other direction.
Whatever the case, Jason may or may not notice that as it moves, bark falls from it along the lines of the lightning cracks.
