It's different than the one they occupied not so long ago, that much is certain. And yet the computer contains a file of the current residents. Castiel may not understand computers but he understands that their temporal functions are much more linear than this. The question is - does this mean they're actually still in the same place, but overlapped into a sunnier version due to, perhaps, an instability in its multidimensional make up due to the rifts opened in the past - and perhaps still open now - or if this is a temporal anomaly of some kind. They lack the insight, despite the resources at their finger tips,but Castiel is interested.
