If it wasn't for his previous comment about this organization being essentially an underground criminal network for some tyrannical purpose, none of that would be troubling. Even assassins have a necessary role to play, at times. Rosinante doesn't much like killing, but pacifism just isn't realistic. It falls in the realm of idealism and he has to stay rooted in what's practical.
