"I merely ask because occasionally the first thing people do is leave their lantern places without realizing its importance." His voice is grim, unhappy that some get here and immediately try to die again. They usually can't get far from it before there's some supernatural urge to return to it, but he's seen people try. "It's some sort of life force, and when it goes out, the owner of the lantern dies. Though occasionally they come back."
