If nothing else, it's good to know his concern about Kuai's brother was warranted. He'd come off as a threatening asshole, but not all threatening assholes are actually dangerous. Yet somehow it's also reassuring that this Noob is not typically a murderer. Hopefully he'll opt not to stoop so far.

"We'll have to keep an eye on him. Possibly others, too. If this was caused by the spirits, they could easily use this as an opportunity to attack again. They haven't yet, but who knows how long it will last. This is exactly the sort of situation where we should have been encouraging people to get to shelter, and keeping track of who is where." But disappointingly, he didn't realize the full extent of the danger until just recently, and he's not in much of a state to protect people. This encounter has proven that handily, and again he's thankful that Kuai is fast, accurate, and yet also merciful.

He touches a hand to his chest again and comes away with fresh blood on his fingers, but it's light. Not much cause for concern. Still, it's a good excuse for getting out of the way for a few minutes so he can try to clear his head. "I'm going to head back to my room and get this taken care of.
