[The sword comes up to block the one for its gut, and the metal arm comes up to reflect the one to its face, striking a spark against the plated metal. The sword-block turns into a slide to one side, letting the axe blade glance off, and the angle of reflection with the arm deflects the power behind Kettara's thrust off to the Soldier's left while it steps easily to its right.

Keeping the arm between them, like an off-hand shield that could turn into an offensive weapon at any moment, and has grasping fingers on one end. It's more dangerous than the sword is, a literal extension of the Soldier's body.]
