"Well, it'll be harder now to get the stuff we need with the ferry out of commission. I would've loved to have some pulleys and some sturdy canvas. But we can make do with sewing scrap clothing together, and at least there's already rope," he says with a nod. "And a mast is easy enough. Plenty of trees to go around."

Mostly, it will just take time but that's the one thing they seem to have plenty of. Time to put it all together, and time to experiment a bit before it really goes out on open water. Speaking of experimenting -

"Can you show me? Magic, I mean?" he asks, smiling. The little bit that he's seen of other people's magic certainly reminds him of the sorts of things devil fruits might enable, but it is different sometimes too. Certainly new to him, and he's always curious to see more.
