The warmth of it washes over him, and some tension ekes out of his shoulders. Gordon sighs and drops his soaking wet jacket over one of the logs situated at sitting distance to the flame. There's a lot to do. He knows he needs to find some bandages, maybe get a good look at the damage to his head. He needs to wash out these clothes. He needs to find something to eat. He needs to check his gun and see if it still works after going for a swim.

Instead it's just a puff of breath, one he transfers into his palms as he brings them cupped up to his mouth. He scrubs them together vigorously, then holds them out to the licking flame.

He wants to check on that little girl, see if she's made it through alright, since she'd disappeared after he left her on the beach earlier.
