[Eleven squints up at Stone, but she can only make him out vaguely, recognizes him more by the sound of his voice rather than the shakes of his face. She doesn't feel like raising the lantern.
For a moment, the praise makes her look oddly unsure. She think of other times she's been praises for her powers, thinks of coca cola cans crushed and almost but not quite thinks of Papa's cold smile.
Instead, though, he calls her kid like Hop does, and that makes Eleven sad for entirely different reasons. More importantly, the flash to Hawkins Lab is brief, and shaken easily - this is... comforting. Stone is saying she did good, but also that she did enough. Eleven breathes out a little more easily.]
